When and where are meetings?

Gatortech meets Tuesdays on Zoom at 6:30. Our schedule and meeting link can be found on the Events page, as there may be some non-consecutive meeting periods. We hope to see you there!

What do I have to do to join?

Just show up! We currently do not have a formal application process, but we do encourage weekly attendance and accept members throughout the year.

Does GatorTech accept members from my major?

Yes! We are open to any major at UF - not just business programs!

What do weekly GatorTech meetings entail?

Each week, we start with an ice-breaker activity and then proceed to the module content we plan to cover. For the last 15-20 minutes of our meeting, we hold group discussions on current tech-related events! Sometimes, we schedule co-hosted workshops with other organizations or bring in recruiters or representatives from companies recruiting UF students!

What if I have no technology experience?

Gatortech is open to people of many different competencies. Many join us with no tech experience at all, and others are looking to build upon what they already know. All skill levels are welcome!

How is GatorTech handling meetings in Fall 2020 (COVID-19)?

We are hosting most meetings and events in a virtual format on Zoom.
